PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
 

We are looking for qualified Medical Assistants!!!!

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean

• Set up instruments and equipment according to department protocol

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information in patients' charts

• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician

• Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients

• Assist physician with office-based outpatient procedures.

• MUST be comfortable with computers (ECW)

Applicants must have prior Medical Office and EMR experience and knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
